Mold Makers are responsible for constructing and maintaining molds to ensure the highest quality products for our customers. Their attention to detail, passion for precision, and ability to work with various materials are instrumental in producing exceptional results.
APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

WinTex has partnered with South Texas Vocational Technical Institute to bring highly-trained and skilled workers to the industry. The WinTex apprentice program spans over 4 years and offers on-the-job training led by experienced craftsmen in the trade. Through this program, apprentices will have the opportunity to explore various work scenarios, further developing their understanding and witnessing the hands-on applications of CNC machining and/or Mold Making.
Our program has a structured format that includes two review periods annually, which occur in June and December. These reviews will commence once the 90-day probationary period is successfully completed and will evaluate job performance as well as adherence to company policies outlined in the company handbook. Apprentice wages start at a level competitive with industry standards.
