Our company began in 1989, as the first international expansion of the Windsor Mold Group, which was founded in 1972. Initially serving as a small repair shop for Delphi, the Texas operation gradually ventured into manufacturing new molds. As part of it growth, the shop was expanded in the early 90’s to include 12,000 Sq. Ft. of manufacturing area 1,200 Sq Ft. for the Engineering Department and 800 Sq Ft. of general office Space. This expansion involved the procurement of new equipment and the hiring of additional local team members to bolster our capabilities. In March of 2023, the Texas operations were acquired by Origin Innovation from the Windsor Mold Group, prompting a change in our name to WinTex Tooling Technologies Corp. Nevertheless, the team remains intact and remains dedicated to serving the plastic injection mold industry on both sides of the border as we progress into the future.
